Gumbo Ya Ya 2013 – “It’s A New Orleans Thing!”
Catch the spirit and energy of “‘The Quarters” in downtown Rock Island for Gumbo Ya Ya 2013. Gumbo Ya Ya is the only “two night Mardi Gras party” in The District. Cajun, Zydeco, and Jazz bands will tantalize your ears, while Cajun spiced food will heat up your taste buds. Bead tosses, confetti, feather masks, feather boas, showgirls, drag queens, burlesque troupe and vampires will give your eyes even more excitement.
Gates open at 5PM on Friday and 4PM on Saturday.

Gumbo Ya Ya is held on the Great River Plaza, 2nd Avenue between 17th & 19th Streets, in Downtown Rock Island, Illinois. Admission is available at $9.00 for a one-night ticket or $14.00 for a two-night ticket; children 12 and under are free.
