Wikipedia says about zydeco, “Usually fast tempo and dominated by the button or piano accordion and a form of a washboard known as a ‘rub-board,’ ’scrub-board,’ or frottoir, zydeco music was originally created at house dances, where families and friends gathered for socializing.” We just like to call it happy music that’s great for dancing!
At this year’s event you’ll find more than just zydeco. Blues, New Orleans jazz, funk, French Creole, and some good ol’ New Orleans street music. Get here to listen to some of the best bands – live on two stages!
